Did you know that women’s labour force participation has risen in 5 of IORA’s Member States since 2010, but in the same period it has declined in 7 Member States? IORA and UN Women will discuss findings of a recent UN Women report on the Indian Ocean region at a webinar on 20 July. Register now.



Join us to hear from IORA and UN Women who will discuss the key findings of the new IORA UN Women report on “Women’s Economic Empowerment in the Indian Ocean Rim: Progress and Challenges”. In addition to analyzing the key gender issues, the report highlights good practices, case studies, and further challenges and opportunities for investments and initiatives to address prominent gender gaps in the region.
