The Webinar on Women Empowerment in Crisis Management was held via Cisco Webex on 20 September 2022 and attended by participants from IORA Member States. The webinar was hosted by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the WGWEE chair in collaboration with the Atmospheric Science and Meteorological Research Centre (ASMERC), the World Meteorological Organization Regional Training Centre in Tehran (Tehran-RTC), and the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Secretariat.
