A five-day workshop for managers of cruise terminals and port authority executives responsible for cruise operations in the IORA region was held from 10–14 November 2025 in Civitavecchia, Italy. The course explored the key factors influencing sustainable cruise tourism and provided practical strategies for managing them effectively. Participants learnt how to ensure cruise terminal operations are sustainable while meeting a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) agreed upon with relevant stakeholders.
