7th Indian Ocean Conference, Perth, Australia, 9-10 February 2024
The Secretary-General of IORA, H.E. Dr Salman Al Farisi, participated in the Indian Ocean Conference 2024 in Perth, 9-10 February 2024. The Conference was co-organized by Australia and the Indian Foundation with the theme 'Towards a Stable and Sustainable Indian Ocean’.
During this visit, the Secretary-General of IORA met with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, India’s Minister of External Affairs Dr Jaishankar and IORA Chair Sri Lanka’s President Wickremesinghe along with other Ministers, Secretaries-General and high-level delegates.
