The 32nd Indian Ocean Rim Business Forum meeting was held virtually on 20 January 2025.  This progressed future Business to Business and Government to Business activities within the Indian Ocean Region, including collaborations with the Women Economic Empowerment and Blue Economy IORA cross-cutting areas.

The IORBF Chair, Mr Buwaneka Perera, Secretary General of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka chaired the meeting with 36 representatives from 12 Member States, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mozambique, Oman, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and United Arab Emirates, and 2 Dialogue Partners Russia and Türkiye.
